Howard Industries, Inc. has announced a price increase of four percent for all liquid-filled transformers including single-phase overhead, three-phase overhead, single-phase pad-mounted, three-phase pad-mounted, single-phase subsurface, three-phase subsurface, and small power transformers. This increase is in addition to the four percent increase announced in January of this year.
The announced price increase is effective for all new quotations dated on or after June 21, 2004. All existing orders and blanket contracts will not be affected. This price increase is necessary to offset continued increases in the cost of raw materials, particularly carbon steel, stainless steel, silicon steel, copper, aluminum, and oil.
