Howard Industries and its approximately 4,300 employees donated Christmas toys, including 50 bicycles, for 230 needy children Friday. Also, approximately 2,200 boxes of rice, 2,100 cans of beef stew and other canned food were also donated. The donations were picked up Friday by the Salvation Army.
The company’s food drive is in its 20th year and its support of the Angel Tree project is in its 13th year.
