Howard Industries announced today that the Technical Standards Committee “A” of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service has granted conditional acceptance to the company’s line of Small Power Transformers and Medium Power Transformers, including transformers with primary a rating of 115 kV and OA capacities of 750 kVA through 3750 kVA and 5 MVA through 30 MVA. These ratings now appear on page an(3) of the Department’s Conditional List of Materials, indicating that they are acceptable for use on the systems of RUS Electrification borrowers.
