The Transformer Division of Howard Industries, Inc., located in Laurel, Mississippi, has recently upgraded the certification of its Quality Management System to the new ISO-9001: 2000 Standard.
This revised standard replaces the previous ISO-9001 Standard established in 1994. Every five years the International Standards Organization is required to review and update their Standards to ensure they evolve to meet changing business needs and expectations.
ISO-9001: 2000 certification was granted to the Transformer Division by Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc.
